12 Eylül 1980 Askeri Darbesinin Karikatür Üzerinden Analizi: Gırgır Dergisi Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türk mizah basınının demokrasi kavramına yaklaşımı ve bu kavramı işleyiş biçimi 12 eylül 1980 Askeri Darbesi özelinde ele alınmıştır. Çalışma, 12 eylül 1980 Askeri Darbesi ile yaşanan siyasal ve toplumsal süreçleri dönem itibariyle yayın hayatı devam eden Gırgır adlı mizah dergisinin karikatürleri üzerinden değerlendirmektedir. Çalışmanın kapsamını, derginin siyasi gelişmeleri, siyasi aktörleri darbe öncesi ve sonrası hangi temalarla işlediği oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, Gırgır'ın antidemokratik bir süreç olan askeri darbeye karşı yaklaşımı değerlendirilerek bu yaklaşımda mizahın eleştiri işlevinin nasıl yer aldığı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

In this study, the approach of the Turkish humour press to the concept of democracy and the way of 12th September 1980 Military Coup is discussed. The study evaluates the political and social processes experienced with the 12th September 1980 Military Coup on cartoons of Gırgır. The scope of this study is the political developments and political actors of the magazine, how they worked before and after the coup. In this study, has been attempted to demonstrate how the humorous criticism takes place Gırgır's approach towards an anti-democratic process, the military coup.
